Between them, I like Aurora Skies better for content. I literally almost just did.ĮTA: I forgot about Aurora Skies and Sunlit Tides. OH there's also Barnacle Bay, but you can probably skip that entirely, tbh. The others all have things that feel "worth it" to me, be it new clothes or sims or premium content.Īll the worlds have some routing issues-that's a given, all the EP worlds and Sunset Valley do too-but there are fixes available nowadays for pretty much everything. Lunar Lakes is probably my least played town ever, but if you play a Sci-Fi/alien heavy game, you might want it for the CAS/build stuff? Honestly, it's probably the one world I regret buying. Roaring Heights is also very nice (but I never played extensively in it). Monte Vista is probably one of the most gorgeous worlds EA created. Monte Vista and Roaring Heights are simply gorgeous. Lucky Palms is nice but I don't play much in it-the casino is nice enough, but it doesn't have enough for me to keep returning (though I've read legacies based there and it can be beautiful). Mostly, though, I just turn it into Dragon Age Valley. The violin and the archery set are great, and I love dragons, so I use the build content a lot. Lots of interestingly colored people, ones who should absolutely be turned into supernaturals, etc. So after a while of trying to play in that, I eventually just took my favorite sims and moved them to Moonlight Falls.ĭragon Valley comes in third for me. It'd be a good place for that (there's even Jack/Sally inspired Sims). Or if you just want to recreate Halloweentown. If you like Tim Burton movies and steampunk, it's a good pick. Midnight Hollow is probably my second most-played store world, and that's because it's so damn weird! It's a very strange, quirky world. My favoritism for it probably comes from 75% nostalgia (it was my first store world), so YMMV. The Sims are generally interesting enough, it's a good starter town if you're doing a legacy, there's plenty of room to expand and revise if that's your jam.
You also have to place the Fountain of Youth yourself.
My favorite (and most played) is probably Hidden Springs, but it's also hideously green, so I sometimes use a terrain mod for it. honestly i have the whole store god help me Okay, so I was hilariously wasteful in my youth, so I have all of them.
